The Center for Community Arts has so many new things going on! Work on rehabilitation of the Franklin Street School, which we are transforming into a community cultural center, is proceeding, but we still need your help! The planning phase of the Franklin Street School Rehabilitation Project is supported by the New Jersey Historic Trust, the National Trust for Historic Preservation, and the Black United Fund of New Jersey. Phase I of the rehabilitation is made by possible by the many individuals and businesses who have contributed to the first year of our Franklin Street School Capital Campaign. The four-phase project is scheduled to be complete by 2008, at a cost of $2 million.
