PUTTING THE F-U-N IN FUNDRAISER

The William J. Moore Scholarship Foundation, Inc. will have a fundraiser at the Wildwoods Convention Center on Saturday February 18, 2006. The Moore Foundation is putting the F-U-N in fundraiser. Doors will open at 6 p.m. and the festivities will last until 11 o'clock. The buffet dinner/dance will feature the seven-piece instrumental and four-man vocal group, Sensational Soul Cruisers, who specialize in classic soul music. There will be a cash bar.

Tickets are available for $60 at Center for Community Arts, 712 Lafayette Street, Cape May, Flying Fish Studio, 130 Park Blvd., West Cape May, or call Alice Vasser at 898-2252.

The Lower Cape May Regional High School Class of 1966 will also take part as it will have its 40th anniversary reunion. Everyone is welcome. The mid-winter event is about supporting education, community, and remembering local African-American educator and tennis instructor William J. Moore. The Moore Foundation has funded over 60 college-bound students for the last 33 years in the uplifting spirit that he professed. It will be a night of fun.
