ART IN THE GARDEN TOUR

ENJOY EIGHT CAPE ISLAND GARDENS
AND LOCAL ARTISTS’ WORK
AT THIRD ANNUAL TOUR


Cape May, NJ – A special one-time tour on Saturday, June 17, 2006 will feature eight Cape Island Gardens and the works of over 20 local artists and fine crafts people. The self-guided tour is from noon to 4:00 p.m. and will raise funds for Center for Community Arts (CCA) programs. The rain date is Sunday, June 18.


Artists display their work, and some are at work during the tour, on the grounds of eight private Cape Island homes. Media include oils, watercolors, fiber arts, photography, pottery, sculpture, jewelry, prints, cards, gourds and baskets.


Tickets are $15, $8 youth ages 6-12, and may be purchased in advance or the day of the tour at CCA, 712 Lafayette Street, Cape May or by calling 884-7525 with a Visa or Master Card.


Proceeds support CCA’s Arts and Community History Programs, including its African American Heritage Walking Tour of Cape May and its work to preserve the Franklin Street School.
