ART PLUS NATURE EQUALS “NATURAL EXPRESSIONS” – Center for Community Arts (CCA) artist-teachers Tina Giaimo (Photography), Judy Ballinger (Silk Painting, Book Arts, Nature Studies, Collage, Paper Mache), and Jody Swope (Sea Sculpture, Floral Design, Chinese Watercolor Parasols, Painting as Meditation) celebrated the exhibition of the work of their adult art students Saturday as part of the Nature Center of Cape May’s Trucksess Welcome Center grand opening.
There’s no rest for the creative: Swope will expand her offerings for the summer; in addition to art classes for grownups, Ballinger will lead CCA’s Kids Art Camp for ages 6-9; and Giaimo will lead Cape May photography walks and be a guest artist in both the Kids Camp and YAP Summer Camps for ages 10-14.
CCA art programs are supported by grants from the New Jersey State Council on the Arts, Lower Cape Alliance, Geraldine R. Dodge Foundation, and many generous businesses and individuals.
