Sept. 2 Update:
All Plein Air Oil Classes are cancelled due to the weather (the teacher drives in from an hour away).
However, the Photography Walking Tour at 10 am will go if it is not raining. The teacher is local and will be at 712 Lafayette St. at 10 am unless it is raining.
Similarly, the 11 am African American Heritage Walking Tour is on if it is not raining. It also meets at 712 Lafayette St.
As of 6pm, there is a 30% chance of rain at 10 and 11 am.
Sept. 9 Update:
YAP, the Youth Arts Program for grades 5-8, will kick off with a scarecrow-making party at the Rea's Farm in West Cape May on Sept. 9 at 6pm. for details and to sign up please call 884-7525.
Center for Community Arts
Cape May, New Jersey's Center for Community Arts (CCA) is transforming the Franklin Street School into a community cultural center. CCA creates arts programs for youth and adults, community history programs, exhibits and tours celebrating Cape May's African American heritage, and community outreach events, such as Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr.'s Birthday Party, and Hotel and Guest Night, the Cape May Talent Sampler (8/27/07).
