COMMUNITY HISTORY EXHIBIT MOVES ON
WEST CAPE MAY and ERMA - The critically acclaimed historical exhibit, “Proudly We Serve: Our African American Military Experience, from the Civil War Forward”, has moved from The Carriage House Gallery on the grounds of the Physick Estate to the West Cape May Borough Hall and the Naval Air Station Wildwood Aviation Museum at the Cape May County Airport. The exhibit at the
WEST CAPE MAY and ERMA - The critically acclaimed historical exhibit, “Proudly We Serve: Our African American Military Experience, from the Civil War Forward”, has moved from The Carriage House Gallery on the grounds of the Physick Estate to the West Cape May Borough Hall and the Naval Air Station Wildwood Aviation Museum at the Cape May County Airport. The exhibit at the
West Cape May Borough Hall will be featured from May 7th through August 29th. The community is invited to an Opening Reception on May 7th from 4:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m.; light refreshments will be served. The County Airport exhibit begins May 23rd and runs through September 2nd.
The exhibit, presented by the Center for Community Arts, highlights the military service contributions made by members of the local African American community. Photographs, artifacts, and hands-on exhibits are featured including the World War II photo album and military uniforms of Cape May Sergeant, John Nash, for whom the Center for Community Arts' Archives are named.

West Cape May Borough Hall is located at 732 Broadway in West Cape May and the hours are 8:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. daily. Beginning July 1, the Hall will be open until 7:30 p.m. on Tuesdays.
