ART IN THE GARDEN TOUR ON SAT. BENEFITS CCA
Eight diverse gardens will be featured in the Art in the Garden Tour on Saturday, May 28 from 12 noon to 4 p.m. These gardens include a 15-acre herb and berry farm that is landscaped with edible herbs and flowers, a classic Victorian townhouse garden, and a prize-winning seaside garden. The featured gardens include 3 in Cape May Point, 3 in Cape May and 2 on Sunset Blvd. in Lower Township. The rain date for the Tour is Sunday, May 29 during the same hours.

The artwork of 28 area artists and fine crafts people will be on display and for sale in the eight gardens throughout the tour.
Tickets for the four-hour tour are $15 per person, $8 for youth 7 – 12, and free for children 6 and under. Tickets can be purchased in advance or on the day of the sale at the following locations in Cape May: Center for Community Arts (CCA) Office, 712 Lafayette Street; Whale’s Tale, 312 Washington Mall; Wildberries, 108 Jackson Street; and the Nature Center of Cape May, 1600 Delaware Avenue. Tickets can also be charged with a Master or Visa Card by calling 609-884-7525.
CCA is also hosting a Plant and Yard Sale on the same day, from 10 – 4 at the Center’s office, 712 Lafayette Street, Cape May. All proceeds from the Tour and Sale benefit CCA’s programs. Center for Community Arts is a multicultural educational nonprofit organization whose arts and humanities programs foster creativity, community building, and appreciation for the rich diversity of our world. The Center is currently rehabilitating the Franklin Street School, a Cape May African American Historic Site, to house a community cultural center.
