Adult art classes in watercolor painting, drawing, polymer clay and basket weaving, among others. . Classes will be held at the Cape May Elementary School, Cape May Nature Center and the Cape May Point Volunteer Firehouse.

April 9
10am to 1 pm The Cape May Jazz Festival in collaboration with the Center for Community Arts conducts a family program of music workshops for guitar featuring Monnette Sudler – 10am beginners and 11 am advanced, saxophone featuring Tim Price at 11 am and percussion jam / drum circle featuring Rotimi Hundeyin with Mark Jacopec at 12 pm (drums provided). No musical experience is required. May bring your own instruments. FREE.

Cape May Stage’s Robert Shackelton Playhouse – Lafayette & Bank Street
The Winter Shore Slam winners compete for the Grand Shore Slam winners in Storytelling and Poetry. The theme is Unforgettable. The event starts at 6pm at the Cape May Stage’s Robert Shackelton Playhouse. Admission fee is $10. Seniors & Students 5.

April 30
11 am – 2 pm at Cape May Elementary School. The Youth Arts Program (YAP) kids from Lower Township, Wildwood and Cape May YAP exhibit and celebrate the artwork produced during the winter / spring arts program. Scholarships are presented for summer art study.
Cape May & Lower Township Summer Art Camp for children ages 10 – 14. 6 weekly sessions; 5 days per week. 9 am - noon. Registration is limited to 20 students on a first come first serve basis. Cape May $90/week, $325/4 weeks. Lower Township FREE to residents. All material & snacks are included.
Cape May Kids Art Camp for children ages 5 – 9. Week-long projects Monday – Friday, 9 am – noon. There will be a new theme each week. $90/week, $325/4 weeks. All material & snacks are included.
