 Youth Arts Programs
Our Youth Arts Program sponsors a variety of arts and social activities for youth and children ages 6 and older.
Saturday Night Youth Arts Program (YAP)
Arts and social activities every Saturday night throughout much of the school year for youth in grades 5 – 8. A new theme each semester. Three locations: Cape May, Lower Township and Wildwood. Most Saturday nights. Free. Includes a light supper.
Summer Youth Arts Program
 Summer Youth Art Camps
- Ages 6-9: Junior Art Camp. 9 am – noon, Monday – Friday, six weeks. Cape May Only. New theme each week.
- Ages 10-14: YAP Camp. 9 am – noon, Monday – Friday, eight weeks. Cape May, Lower Township and Wildwood. New theme each week.
- Ages 6-12: Camp Congress Hall. 5:30 – 9:30 p.m. Art activities and supper in the historic hotel. Register through the hotel at 884-8421.
Annual Events for Kids:
Young People's Jazz Program
Guitar, Jazz Improvisation, Saxophone, Voice and Drumming workshops held every April and November, in association with the Cape May Jazz Festival.
 The Great Cookie Exchange
A holiday party every December for the young at heart at the Cape May City Elementary School, 921 Lafayette Street.
Dolores Cheney Youth Arts Fair
A celebration every May of the artistic spirit and talent of our community's youth and the teachers who nurture them. Winners of the Dolores Cheney Gift to Young People, a scholarship fund that provides stipends for summer study in the arts, are announced at the Youth Arts Fair.
